How to Prepare a Perfect Bowl
Sift one to two teaspoons of matcha or hojicha powder into your bowl, breaking up any clumps. Add a splash of hot water, just off the boil and cooled slightly, and whisk briskly in a zigzag motion until smooth and frothy. Notice the vibrant green of matcha or the deep, toasty hue of hojicha, and breathe in the delicate or roasted aroma.
